Paris, 26/07/2023 – EPSA, a provider of sustainable performance solutions for businesses and public bodies, is expanding its growth strategy by acquiring AB&C, a key player in the Netherlands.
AB&C Group is a company focused on operational performance for businesses and administrations. As a leader in its market in the fields of interim management, procurement, and consulting, AB&C is one of the key players in the consulting space in the Netherlands, notably holding a prominent position in the public sector. AB&C has experienced significant growth for over 10 years, reaching a total revenue of €150 million in 2022, with a workforce of over 500 people.
With a total revenue of €200m in 2023 and more than 1,700 employees, EPSA assists companies in optimizing their lasting operational performance, capitalising on several specific domains of expertise and digital solutions. The company has already established a strong foothold in the European markets, particularly in France, Germany, Belgium, Italy and Spain, and is active in the United States and China as well. EPSA remains committed to its growth strategy, striving to establish itself as the reference actor in the European markets of consulting and performance optimisation.
The acquisition of AB&C will further strengthen EPSA’s presence in the Benelux region, positioning it as a leader in Europe. EPSA closed the acquisition of AB&C Group on July 25th 2023. The transaction was financed by debt and an additional equity investment from EPSA’s existing financial investors (TowerBrook, Raise and Capza), and new financial investors (Tikehau Capital, Bpifrance and Crédit Mutuel Equity). AB&C Group was advised by Lincoln International. EPSA was advised by BNP Paribas (M&A), Roland Berger (Commercial Diligence), KPMG (Financial Diligence) and Lexence (Legal). TowerBrook was advised by 1602 Capital (M&A).
