EPSA Lab

EPSA Lab
Since its very beginnings, the EPSA Group has drawn its growth from innovation, evolving in an entrepreneurial ecosystem where everyone contributes their unique expertise and creates differentiating value on the market.
Convinced that entrepreneurship is an essential response to the economic, societal and cultural challenges of our time, EPSA has launched an ambitious innovation program: EPSA Lab.
This in-house incubator, run by the Commitment Department, supports employees in turning their innovative ideas into reality, transforming them into projects with a strong human and economic impact.
The aim of EPSA Lab is to drive further innovation in the service of organizational performance and transformation, while confirming and accelerating the entrepreneurial spirit that is an integral part of EPSA’s DNA.
How does it work ?
The in-house incubation program is designed to turn innovative ideas into concrete, high-impact projects.
1️. Call for projects : An internal call for projects is organized to identify the most innovative ideas.
2️. Project selection : Proposed ideas are evaluated by a jury made up of Comex members and business line managers. The most promising projects are selected to join the program.
3️. Project support : Successful intrapreneurs benefit from structured support, in partnership with Schoolab, an expert innovation studio, to bring their initiatives to fruition, whether business projects or geographical expansion.

Key stages of support :
Thanks to a structured program, each project owner benefits from a methodological framework and support tailored to his or her needs.
-
Coaching individuel
Personalized follow-up with an expert from the innovation studio to structure and refine each project.
-
Group workshops
Collaborative workshops to challenge concepts and reinforce their relevance.
-
Internal mentoring
Strategic support from a member of the EPSA Management Committee.
Interview of Terence Maas : EPSA Strasbourg project
“In mid-2023, we took the decision to open the Strasbourg branch, with the aim of recruiting the first staff at the start of the 2024 financial year.
In this context, there were naturally a number of elements to think about in order to ensure the success of the project, all within a fairly tight timeframe. As such, EPSA offered me the support of the LAB to structure my thinking and the various stages inherent in the Agency’s success.
The idea was quite simple: to have a dedicated contact, with experience in the field, with whom to validate the relevance of our choices and steer us in the right direction.
The program therefore spanned the entire preparation period, as well as the first few months following the start-up of local operations.
With seven employees now attached to the Agency six months after the official opening, we can say that the Project has got off to the best possible start.”
