Appointment: Yann Danou joins the EPSA Group as Group Chief Information Officer
Responsible for defining and supporting the digital transformation of the EPSA Group, Yann Danou, a specialist in strategic project management and operational optimization of IT infrastructures, becomes the EPSA Group’s new Group Chief Information Officer (CIO). This promotion marks an important step in the development of the EPSA Group, which aims to become the European benchmark for optimizing financial, operational and sustainable results.
An exemplary career spanning over 30 years in IT
Yann Danou joined the EPSA group as Group CIO, having held a number of positions including Regional IT Manager for the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance (1998-2005), Information Systems Director for Business France (2008-2014), Information Systems Director for the VILAVI group (2014-2019), and Deputy Chief Information Officer for the La Poste group (2019-2025).
His significant experience in the field (creation, organization, restructuring of services) and his proven approach to cutting-edge strategic subjects (governance, Data/IA, Cybersecurity, Cloud…) will enable him to provide the EPSA group with the means to strengthen its digitalization, as well as increase the scope of its offerings to its customers.
A multi-site, multi-country scope of operations
Yann Danou, who holds a double master’s degree in business and engineering, is responsible for carrying out a number of central missions:building a set of components essential to the implementation of a unified, secure Digital Workplace enabling better collaboration between all the group’s 5,000 users & customers (in France and internationally), reinforcing the group’s cybersecurity maturity and setting up a Data & AI driven eco-system to serve its customers.
In the mean time, other large-scale missions will be undertaken. These include, for example, the roll-out of a data platform to accelerate data sharing within the Group and boost management and performance, or the definition of an IT service offering for Group entities and their customers – located in over 40 countries.
